Mallory Harding is a student of Winifred Faix Brown and was most recently heard singing the role of Alto Narrator in the world premiere of Joseph's Gift by Francis Lynch, in December 2016.  Mallory also sang the roles of Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti, Hansel in Hansel and Gretel, Countess in Le nozze di Figaro with New Moon Opera in 2015 and 2016.  Other roles include Line/Maskerade (Nielsen), Valencienne/The Merry Widow, Tisbe/La Cenerentola, and Madame Altina/La Divina.  Mallory is also an active concert soloist and choral singer.

Mallory began studying piano and clarinet at age 10, adding voice at age 14.  She received her BA in music education and K-12 teaching certification from North Central College, and her M. Mus. in voice at the University of Missouri-Columbia with a full assistance-ship teaching voice. 

Mallory has been teaching piano and voice lessons for eleven years and has experience working with many different types of students: from age 4 to 92, students with special needs, beginners to advanced musicians, and even members of the indie rock band Fall Classic.  She currently teaches voice and piano for Piano Power on the North Shore of Chicago, and also offers in-home lessons in the Rogers Park area.
